Using Geography to Define 'Gentrification'

Focus more on people, less on place.

Theme: Geography of gentrification

Subject Article: "Gentrification and Residential Mobility in Philadelphia."

Other Links: 1. "Analysis: Atlanta has plenty of new luxury apartments... but 'low-cost rentals' are dwindling."

Postscript: The geography of deprivation is slow to change, save where globalization is concerned. The influx of wealth rapidly improves place. Once a place improves in such a fashion, good luck (and it is luck) gaining access to those geographies.
