Detroit Diaspora

Keeping track of the various domestic diaspora groups is becoming a chore. Rachel Jacobs, founder of 635 Mile, sent to me an email message about a new Detroit Diaspora network:

635 Mile is a grassroots organization dedicated to improving the flow of funds, ideas and energy between native Detroiters now living elsewhere and our hometown.

The above is from the Facebook page. As you might expect, there is a website. The expatriate hub of focus is New York City, as opposed to Chicago. The network geography in play should make for an interesting future post.
